200mg BD for 10 days |
For patients with an enteral feeding tube or swallowing difficulties order fidaxomicin liquid from pharmacy.
Renal and hepatic impairment
Renal impairment
No dose adjustment required.
Severe renal impairment: Use with caution.
Unlikely to be dialysed.
Hepatic impairment
No dose adjustment required.
Moderate to severe hepatic impairment: Use with caution due to limited clinical data in this population.
