Susceptible infections 100mg BD Not applicable
Acne 50mg BD 100mg OD

Renal and hepatic impairment

Renal impairment

  • Mild, moderate or severe renal impairment: No dose adjustment required.
    • Immediate-release preparation: Manufacturer recommends use with caution in severe renal-impairment
  • HDF/High Flux: Dose as in normal renal function. Unknown dialysability.
  • PD: Dose as in normal renal function. Not dialysed.
  • Patients with complete renal failure: Immediate-release and Modified- release preparations are contraindicated

Hepatic impairment

  • No dose adjustment required
  • Use with caution in patients with hepatic impairment or those receiving potentially hepatotoxic drugs.
