Renal and hepatic impairment
Renal impairment
- Mild, moderate or severe renal impairment: No dose adjustment required.
- Immediate-release preparation: Manufacturer recommends use with caution in severe renal-impairment
- HDF/High Flux: Dose as in normal renal function. Unknown dialysability.
- PD: Dose as in normal renal function. Not dialysed.
- Patients with complete renal failure: Immediate-release and Modified- release preparations are contraindicated
Hepatic impairment
- No dose adjustment required
- Use with caution in patients with hepatic impairment or those receiving potentially hepatotoxic drugs.
