Referral to  Arrhythmia team

The referral, for outpatients only is Communicate tab  EPR  : cardiology access team arrhythmia

• The referrals are  triaged by  consultant : wait can be a few weeks to a few months
• Please :  attach notes and ECG to the referral , with a good reason why you are making the referral

CRITERIA

Documented arrythmia on ECG

• New diagnosis syncope -  advise patient regarding DVLA & driving
• WPW/ delta wave pre excitation
• Atrial tachycardias -  more than a single episode
• If Atrial Tachycardia post  ablation - should refer to cardiology
• AF not requiring cardioversion
• Cardiac Investigation guidelines are soon to be published
