Please refer any patients off baseline for swallow or communication (speech +/- language), including progression of known oropharyngeal dysphagia, or frequent readmissions for aspiration pneumonia. If unsure, they will be happy to discuss any referrals over the phone.
Exclusion criteria:
- Difficulties only when swallowing pills/ medication
- Aspiration of vomit only
- Purely oesophageal dysphagia
- Low GCS/ too drowsy to commence oral intake
