Clinical exmination indicates an X-Ray
Non Displaced Fracture
- Non displaced mid clavicle fracture seen on X-Ray
- Polysling
- NO NPC
- Read through the clavicle fracture discharge leaflet with the parents and patient. Highlight safety net information.
- Discharge the patient with clinical notes .
Closed Displaced Fracture
- Closed fracture with displacement?
- Polysling
- Read through the clavicle fracture discharge leaflet with parents and the patient.
- NPC 10-14 days
- Home with safety net advice .
Open Fracture and or/ critical skin
- Open fracture and /or critical skin
- Discuss with On Call Trauma reg. , Bleep 1222 and treat as advised.
